    Minor update v3.1.3

The previous update introduced a small bug where the application would hang when you had Docs with a . (period) in the name. This version fixes that issue.

If anyone had this problem with the previous version, you should remove your storage folder (or choose another one). You don't have to redownload all the books: Inside the storage folder there is a folder called 'books'. Each of those folders should contain all the information necessary to index a book. You can simply add those folders as local books. The books will then be copied to your new storage folder.

    Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm rocking the latest Doc - 3.1.3 on os x. But now it just hangs on start-up, showing "Loading docs". I suspect that I have a old, bogus book somewhere, but I can't find it. What folder names should I search for or what is the default storage folder location?

My Docs hangs as well. I tried to add the offline zip of the flex4 asdocs. It wouldn't accept that, so then I tried the remote version. It succeeded, but took ages to download en index, but when return to the homepage of docs, the app freezes while showing the "laoding docsé preloader. fyi. : Mac OSX 10.6, Docs 3.1.3

Have you guys tried creating a new storage folder? (As described in this blog post?)

And those filter-docs do indeed take a lot of time to download & index.

I opened Doc and it displayed "Loading docs". Left Doc for a couple of hours, but it's still loading. Would it help to delete existing books? What's the default storage folder on OS X?

Hi, You can fix that by changing to a new storage folder. The default on OSX is something like /Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Doc.XXXXXXXXXXXX Remove the portableSettings.xml file. Choose a new folder and add the books like I said in this blog post.
